Privacy
Draft for the private beta, pending legal review. Not yet final.
What we store
- Account owners: name, business name, email, and a scrypt hash of your password (never the password itself).
- Your invoices and clients: invoice numbers, amounts, dates, client names and contact emails, payments you record, messages sent, and what clients tell us through the payment page.
- Clients using the payment page: what they choose to tell us (a payment date, a plan, a problem, or a hardship note). This is shared only with the business that sent the invoice.
How we use it
Only to run the service for the business that owns the data: drafting and sending follow-ups, forecasting cash flow, and showing what clients have said. We don't sell data or use it for advertising.
Who processes it
- Anthropic (Claude) drafts messages and reads replies. Invoice details and message text are sent to its API for that purpose.
- Our email provider delivers messages.
- Our hosting provider stores the database.
Hardship notes
When a client tells us they're going through a hard time, that note is shown only to the business owner, is never used to rate or score the client, and is deleted along with the invoice.
Deleting data
Account owners can ask us to delete their account and all associated data at any time.
